About Chuini Zanzibar
Located on the very edge of the Unguja (Zanzibar) Island where the Indian Ocean reaches the shore, Chuini Zanzibar Beach Lodge is the most voguish property to grace Zanzibar’s west coast. The lodge is set on the west coast of Zanzibar, 12 kilometers north of Stone Town, and its bungalows are spread out over a 1.5-hectare area, allowing for excellent privacy. About Lanzerac Hotel & Spa
I was recently lucky enough to spend two nights at the iconic Lanzerac Hotel & Spa in Stellenbosch. From the moment we arrived and our doors were opened with wide, friendly smiles to the time of departure, the whole experience was delightful – a weekend of luxury, tranquillity and rejuvenation.
We drank vintage wines with the wine maker, were guided on a fascinating walk through the property where we learnt about the estate and its history dating back to 1692, indulged in the most decadent massage followed by bubbly in the Spa jacuzzi, played backgammon next to the roaring log fire tasting small bites off their menu and dined on exquisite cuisine through our stay.
The rooms are generously spacious, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, and the scenery is mesmerising with dramatic mountain views, endless rows of lush vineyards and hectares of gardens shaded by giant oak trees.
Lanzerac is synonymous with old-world charm, elegance and opulence, and is the perfect celebration of sensory indulgence.
