Day 1 - 2: A Warm Welcome to Kigali

Day 3: Journey to a Canopy of Serenity

Day 4: Whispers of the Forest
Embark on an immersive journey through Nyungwe’s forest, guided by a local ranger, in search of primates. Nyungwe has 13 species which include Colobus, L’Hoest monkey, Owl faced monkey, Blue monkey, Dent’s Mona Monkey, and Vervet monkeys. Traverse the 60m canopy walkway, and revel in the beauty of waterfalls, orchids, and exotic birds.
Day 5: Charming Chimpanzees
The highlight of your Nyungwe stay unfolds this morning with Chimpanzee Trekking, accompanied by a local ranger. Dive into the rich biodiversity of the region, complemented by an afternoon tea plantation visit and tasting.
Day 6: Enroute to Gorilla Country
Transfer by road to Lake Kivu, sail north on the Lake to Gisenyi, then continue your journey to the Volcanoes by road. Explore the Ellen DeGeneres/Diane Fossey campus en route, gaining insights into gorilla behaviour and conservation. Pre-dinner, meet the Gorilla Doctors at Singita Kwitonda Lodge for an inspiring encounter.
Day 7: A Life-Changing Encounter
A life-defining moment awaits as you embark on a Gorilla Trek, guided by a local ranger. Spend an intimate hour with a gorilla family, followed by leisure time at Singita Kwitonda Lodge, where the spirit of conservation envelops you.
Day 8: Double Delight
Opt for a second Gorilla Trek in the morning and, in the afternoon, enjoy a private scenic boat trip on the Twin Lakes, blending cultural experiences and mesmerizing views of the Volcanoes mountains.
