REGIONS IN MOZAMBIQUE
Vilanculos
Vilanculos is the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelego or up the coast to Santorini on the mainland. This international airport sees daily flights from South Africa. Besides snorkeling and diving, experience a horse safari along the beach, kitesurfing, fishing charters and island hopping.
Bazaruto
The Bazaruto Archipelago is made up of five gorgeous main islands set within Africa’s largest marine reserve and offering some of the best snorkeling, diving and recreational big game fishing. Transfer across by speed boat from Vilanculos or opt for the spectacular helicopter flight.
Quirimbas
The Quirimbas Archipelago lies along the northern coast where 12 main islands and 20 smaller ones make up a chain, however only a handful of them have any development. This is by all means a private island escape! Easiest access is through Pemba Airport, with a direct flight to your lodge.
Ponta Mamoli
Ponta Mamoli lies along the southeast coast of Mozambique, approximately 80 kilometres from the capital city, Maputo and 25 kilometres north of the Kosi Bay/ South Africa border. Nestled on Mozambique’s lagoon coast, surrounded by indigenous bush, there’s a plethora of activities on offer.
